Today I received 'Searching for Sebald: Photography after W.G. Sebald'. It is an incredible edition of over 600 pages of original criticism and artwork. What a phenomenal publication to have edited, as Lisa Patt of the Institute of Cultural Inquiry has done so magnificently along with Christel Delbohner. I haven't read a word yet, but it appears to be not only a seminal work of Sebald scholarship, but also of art history criticism. I would exhort any one compiling a syllabus for a course on photography and literature to order copies for their library.
